There are a few rules and ways of writing a full episode of 8 Simple Rules For Dating My Teenage
Daughter or any other sitcom show.
First of all, the piece you may want to submit to us doesn't have to be a complete episode. It can be only one or two
scenes. One of the important things is to have plots set. Start your episode by typing [Scene: ???] Where do you
want to start your scene? In the living room of the house? in the kitchen? At somebody's bedroom? At school? You decide. After
you do that, type in who's in the room and what they're doing. Then start a conversation. Here's a slight version of
a created fanfiction episode:
[Scene: The Living Room where Kerry and Cate are. Kerry is reading a book as Bridget enters with her typical kind
of clothes.]
Cate: Hi, Bridget. How was the library?
Bridget: Oh, it was great. Look what I got! (Shows her clothes.)
Kerry: Wow, clothes from the library, huh?
Bridget: Library? Who said anything about...oooooh, right!
And you go on... You may always change the scene by saying [Scene cut to ....???] You ask your self that question
again.
Your episode is to be either humor, drama, horrow, romance or mixed of two or more by stating that it is General.
